Empowered Mental Health

Hello! I am a Licensed Master Social Worker and a graduate from Washburn University. I work with children, adolescents and families to address depression, anxiety, PTSD, relationship difficulties and life adjustment issues. I operate using a person-centered approach, emphasizing an individual’s capacity to create change and enhance the quality of their life. In addition, I incorporate techniques from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Trauma Focused and Play Therapy with children and adolescents. I strive to build an environment where individuals feel safe to be their authentic self, to create growth and change. I am an inclusive therapist who is LGBTQIA+ affirming.
